LRC stands for Lipaboma Reference Code. Every tenant unit gets a unique LRC code. When a tenant pays rent via M-Pesa Paybill, they enter this code as the account reference. Lipaboma reads the M-Pesa callback, matches the LRC to the correct unit and tenant, and auto-reconciles the payment instantly — no manual verification needed.

No. You use your existing Safaricom Paybill (or Till) number. Lipaboma connects to it through the official Safaricom Daraja API. Your tenants continue paying to the same paybill, just using their LRC code as the account reference.

Volume is for portfolios of 100 units and above, billed per unit: KES 60 per unit for 100–300 units, KES 55 for 300–600 units, and KES 50 for 600–1,000 units.

You earn commission when landlords you refer subscribe: 20% for the first 3 months, 15% for months 3–6, 10% for months 6–12, then 5% for life after 12 months. You can withdraw commissions once they reach KES 1,000, which keeps payout transaction costs low.

You can upgrade at any time from your dashboard. Move from Essentials to Professional (50 units), Portfolio (100 units), or Volume (100–1,000+ units with per-unit pricing).

Yes. You can add water, electricity, and other utility charges to tenant accounts. These can be collected alongside rent in a single M-Pesa payment, making billing simpler for both you and your tenants.

Available on Professional, Portfolio, and Volume. Upload your bank statement as a PDF and Lipaboma parses the transactions and attempts to match each one to a tenant payment record. This is useful when tenants pay via direct bank transfer rather than M-Pesa.

Absolutely. Lipaboma supports multi-landlord organisations — you can manage multiple landlords under a single agency account with role-based access control. Portfolio and Volume are designed for agencies.

Yes. Cancel anytime from your account settings with no penalties. Your data remains accessible until the end of your billing period. You can export all records before leaving.
